When Love Speaks

Более 40 сонетов Уильяма Шекспира в современном музыкальном оформлении вошли в альбом When Love Speaks, в записи которого принимали участие звезды рока Брайан Ферри, Руфус Уэйнрайт, Энни Ленокс и другие известные исполнители. Некоторые сонеты, включенные в оригинальный проект, музыканты не стали превращать в песни. Строки Шекспира профессиональные актеры декламируют под музыкальный аккомпанемент. В числе чтецов – известные актеры Алан Рикман , снимавшийся в фильмах "Крепкий орешек", "Робин Гуд – принц воров", "Догма", "Гарри Поттер и философский камень" и Джон Харт , сыгравший в картинах "Контакт", "Человек-слон", "Заблудшие души". Алан Рикман был одним из вдохновителей проекта When Love Speaks. Вместе с композитором Майклом Кейменом он стал автором идеи музыкального воплощения шекспировских сонетов. Альбом поступил в продажу 4 февраля. В лондонском театре "The Old Vic" 10 февраля прошел концерт, посвященный этому музыкальному событию. CD включает следующие поэмы, прочитанные артистами: 1.
